3. Yasen-class (Project 885)

Russia's Yasen-class submarines are celebrated for their combination of speed, stealth, and armament. Featuring a double-hull design, these nuclear-powered vessels can dive deeper than many Western equivalents. They are equipped with eight torpedo tubes for modern torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, and supersonic cruise missiles. The Yasen-class features a spherical sonar array and advanced signal processing, enabling it to monitor up to 200 targets simultaneously. Its titanium pressure hull and advanced noise reduction techniques make it nearly as quiet as the most sophisticated Western submarines. It can also deploy Kalibr cruise missiles while submerged, providing it with significant strike capability.
