15. Moses Bridge, Netherlands

The Moses Bridge, or Sunken Bridge, in the Netherlands is a distinctive piece of contemporary design. Constructed in 2011, it is submerged in the moat surrounding Fort De Roovere, enabling visitors to walk "through" the water. Made from resilient Accoya wood, the bridge creates the impression of dividing the water, inspired by the biblical tale of Moses. This ingenious design preserves the fort's historic defenses while providing a memorable experience that combines history and innovation.
